Screen Shot 2013-12-31 at 6.35.29 PM6:45 PM — Not too long ago, we reported that Samsung was prepping a 12.2-inch tablet to introduce in the market.  For a while now, Apple has been rumored to be developing a bigger sized tablet than its current 9.7-inch iPad offering.  Now we have some additional news regarding Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro.  According to a tweet sent out by notorious @evleaks, the tablet is headed to AT&T.  The model number is SM-P907A.

AT&T will be the first provider to carry the tablet, with other businesses to follow in the future.  The tablet is expected to pack similar hardware to the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition).  The Galaxy note Pro is expected to feature a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel LCD display, a 2.4GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera with a 2-megapixel front camera, a 9,500 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat.  The tablet is also expected to be offered in the standard black and white color options.

The tablet is expected to be released some time in the first quarter of 2014.  The exact release date is currently unknown.  As we previously reported, in addition to the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Samsung is rumored to launch three other tablets in early 2014, including the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320/T325), Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520/T525) and Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110/T111).

What do you think?  Will you get the 12.2-inch tablet?
